{"id":745,"date":"2020-08-21T11:17:38","date_gmt":"2020-08-21T10:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/festivalofthemind.sheffield.ac.uk\/2020\/?post_type=event&#038;p=745"},"modified":"2021-07-07T11:48:53","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T10:48:53","slug":"sheffield-carescapes-podcast","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/festivalofthemind.sheffield.ac.uk\/2020\/spiegeltent\/sheffield-carescapes-podcast\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheffield Carescapes &#8211; Podcast"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Writer Akeem Balogun presents two short stories <em>How Many Years?<\/em> performed by Kate Wood and Reuben Johnson, and <em>Comprehensive and Assistive Robotic Enhancer<\/em> performed by Rose Gray and Sile Sibanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These stories were written for the &#8216;Sheffield Carescapes: Potential Futures for Caring Society&#8217; project and were inspired by Dr Matthew Lariviere&#8217;s work on the future of care technologies and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Care is in crisis. Austerity and staff shortages have placed increased burden on the care system.
