Mesothelioma is a rare incurable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Although asbestos was banned in 1999, its effects on human lives still lingers on.
‘Invisible threads’ is a powerful play telling the stories of families affected by mesothelioma, highlighting injustice, human spirit, and the strength, positivity, and hope of the mesothelioma community.
This event is a collaboration between Dead Ernest Theatre and the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre which was founded in 2020 and works to improve the experiences of patients and families affected by mesothelioma.
Join us to discover the invaluable work of the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre, meet the researchers and representatives from the charity Mesothelioma UK and engage in a Q&A session.
