Although asbestos was banned in 1999, its effects on human lives still lingers on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Invisible threads\u2019 is a powerful play telling the stories of families affected by mesothelioma, highlighting injustice, human spirit, and the strength, positivity, and hope of the mesothelioma community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event is a collaboration between Dead Ernest Theatre and the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre which was founded in 2020 and works to improve the experiences of patients and families affected by mesothelioma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Join us to discover the invaluable work of the Mesothelioma UK Research Centre, meet the&nbsp;researchers and representatives from the charity Mesothelioma UK and engage in a Q&amp;A session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Livestream<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This performance will also be livestreamed in a video viewer at the top of the page at 11am on Saturday 28 September.
