The project begins with a question: what does care mean to you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through conversations and photography, participants reflect on their own experiences, memories and understandings of care. Each portrait is accompanied by a short piece of writing developed from these reflections. Each photo offers a glimpse into the different ways people make sense of care in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on their own understandings of care and engage with the perspectives shared by participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is part of the University of Sheffield\u2019s Festival of the Mind and was developed through collaboration between members of the public, photographer Les Monaghan, and the National Institute for Health and Social Care&#8217;s (NIHR) School for Social Care Research at the University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":193,"template":"","events_category":[],"class_list":["post-261","exhibit1","type-exhibit1","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.10 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>What Does Care Mean to You?
