The team behind the Breathing Space exhibition talk about the consequences and health impacts of air pollution, and what we can do as individuals and as a society to improve the air quality in our cities.
The Project
Artist Gina Allen highlights the personal stories of people affected by air pollution to help us visualise a huge problem we just can’t see.
Gina and her academic collaborator Dr Lee Crookes (Urban Studies and Planning) hope that hearing first hand about the terrible consequences of air pollution – caused by cars, haulage and air travel – will make us rethink some of our own personal choices.
The exhibition is situated in Futurecade and is available to view online.
